Shocking

According to today's Lancet, drugs and electric shock therapy are the best way to treat depression as opposed to talking therapies. Dear, oh dear ! Am I glad I was spared the shock . This trend makes me worry about what will be in vogue when my next big one hits, though.

The person's will power matters a lot here

HOW CAN YOU GIVE ANY CREDIT TO THESE KIND OF THINGS??
Whitin a few years "they" will find again how dreadful electric shocks and drugs are and within a few more years again "they" will find that they (shocks and drugs) are efficient and this kind of circus is only there to give five minutes of glory to the "they" of the day...
Send them... Oh dear.. I am forbidden to say so...

It is a scientific paper published in the Lancet (the world's most renowned medical publication), for goodness sake ! And we do depend on doctors and what's in vogue among them to some extent even when your malaise is depression. And, Rauf, I found my self to be an amoeba with no will power or feeling whatsover at that time.
