Time to get the woolies out

weather

The kids are on their mid term holiday and there's lots of preparations under way for Hubby's birthday and for Halloween. We were thinking about going to Kent, to the Brogdale apple harvest festival and that lovely Windy Ridge b&b in Whitstable like we did three years ago but ended up deciding against it. Too much going on at the moment...

Nia is being admitted to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children on Thursday to undergo her bone marrow transplant. She'll be in complete isolation for 6 weeks and can't have any visitors. We're all keeping our fingers crossed everything will go well and that chance finally sides up with her so that by Christmas she'll be well set on the road to recovery. She's been through so much already and she's so frail and so brave... I struggle to make any sense out of life sometimes.
