very dramatic Claudia, i don't remember this at all. Its all very hazy to me. i think i watched it in the second run, we went only to see the colour in the movie and missed everything else. There was a discussion over tea, if i wear a red shirt will it be red in the movie ? or they can colour it yellow. We thought some body was sitting there colouring it.

It's a great movie, Rauf. Of course when I saw it for the first time - I think I was 10 or 11 and the movie was for over 13's - what impressed me most were the fabulous dresses and Scarlett O'Hara's beautiful face. As I grew older I started appreciating the historical aspects of the movie (both in Margaret Mitchell's story and in the making of the movie itself) and the very fine acting. It's still a joy to watch, can't resist it everytime it's on late-night TV.
